Social selling is now an established part of the sales process for most B2B organisations. Sales professionals now use social selling platforms to broadcast thought leadership, research potential sales targets, and they also use it to reach out and connect with those targets. But does social selling actually sell?
Advocates of social selling say yes - social selling sells! They put forward an endless stream of statistics to support the argument. Others suggest , that social selling is good for early stages of the sales funnel - but they also suggest it has limitations when it gets closer to the sales conversation / money end of the opportunity process. So who is right?
