Diploma in Sales Management

This programme has been developed in association with The Sales Institute of Ireland as part of its aims to promote continuous professional development of its members. The programme aims to provide leaders with an in-depth understanding of the theoretical concepts and the tools to manage the practical issues as they relate to the sales function.

The programme is designed to expose participants to a broad range of business disciplines to enable them to drive a strategic sales management function within their respective organisations, enhancing both their personal and organisational effectiveness. The theoretical bases of the programme will be tested in practical use through action learning and case study teaching methods. Participants will thus be able to directly apply their learning from the very first weeks of the course.

On completion of the programme, you will gain a postgraduate Diploma granted by UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Following successful completion of the Diploma, there is an optional additional year of study leading to an MSc in Strategic Sales Management. You will develop your strategic thinking skills, putting structure and science behind sales force decisions, giving you the tools to identify and leverage sales performance initiatives for delivering company growth. Through this programme of study, you will become better able to contribute to the wider strategic development of your organisation, thus enabling you to operate more effectively at senior leadership level.
