TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN M-COMMERCE - David Geraghty, Director for Online Media Sales EMEA, Google
David joined Google in 2007 and as Director for Online Media Sales in EMEA, he is responsible for driving revenue growth across Google’s Display and Mobile business. He previously led Google's User Operations team, supporting millions of Users of Google products across the EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) region. In this role, his teams support webmasters to ensure their sites are included in Google Search and support users of Google’s consumer products such as Gmail, Maps, Earth, Picasa, and Buzz! . He has almost 15 years of experience in the software industry and prior to joining Google, he worked as Head of Professional Services for an Irish Mapping software company, where he managed a team of consultants in Ireland, UK and US. David graduated from the School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin in 1995 and started his career as a software engineer in the telecommunications industry working with multinational companies such as Alcatel, Ericsson & Openwave.
